The Elders of Tomorrow : Maintaining Tradition and Building the Future
Word from the programming committee

This year, the Gathering wishes to highlight the urgency of promoting an effective intergenerational transfer structure among First Nations and Inuit. We will emphasize the importance of increased intergenerational consultation between elders and youth, fostering open and respectful dialogue, where ancestral knowledge meets creativity and innovation, from which emerge renewed and promising visions for the future.

By encouraging this intergenerational collaboration and cohesion, we hope to pave the way for a deep and lasting cultural revitalization, where our peoples pursue identity affirmation, strengthen resilience and trace new paths towards a future rich in meaning and promise.
